What a spectacular experience. From the food to the decor, we found Veraswamy lived up to our every expectation. Although the food quantity is limited; the quality in the food makes up for every bite. We truly found the Butter Chicken Au Vin to be the best version of butter chicken we have ever had, be sure to get this no matter your party size even if it’s just for the taste. Worth making the trip here, it truly is a once in a lifetime experience.

The oldest Indian restaurant in London but despite it's age, it's kept up with the times giving modern takes on older dishes. The food is great and portion sizes are not pretentious (but not as much as you'd get from a standard Indian restaurant) although the dessert portion sizes were small. We enjoyed the crab biryani the most. Overall, most of the dishes were tasty but I found I spent way more than I expected to here. It didn't feel like good value for money. It was a great experience and I'm glad to have tried it but I'm unlikely to return.

Brilliant dining experience - Weekend Lunch Menu Servers were friendly and attentive making sure they double checked allergens. All dishes were bursting in flavour, beautifully plated and left us full and satisfied. Can particularly recommend the spicy paneer starter and butter chicken main. A Michelin 3 course for £48 - can only recommend

Great atmosphere and historic identity behind this joint makes it a must go! Couple of recipes really stood out and the food gets a 4. Everything else was a 5! Visited this place with a friend and we ordered the tasting menu.

Situated just off Regents street with an entrance off a side alley, we visited for an evening meal. Doorman and then lift to the actual floor the resturant is on. Cosy and well presented throughout. We ordered a number of dishes including a chicken tika, lamb sheesh, scallops, aubergine and naan basket to name a few. Overall the flavours were there and clearly good quality. The tikka was flavourful and tender and the spice was there on the lamb. However, the pricing. Its Regent street so any price goes but really didn't think it was worth it. There is a £60 per head minimum fyi which doesn't help also. On top of that, there is also a foot note on the menu about flash photography and intrusive photos, presumably to ensure the low lit cosy ambeince is preserved. However they didn't care that much when a large table where making a lot of noise prior to seating right next to us.

We visited for weekend lunch, and were not disappointed. The interior of the restaurant is impeccably decorated and well-kept, with a bright, open feel. Most seats have a view out over Regent's Street, and even if you don't the splendour of the restaurant is a very fair compromise. The menu is varied with some creativity to the dishes, and appeals to a variety of dietary requirements too. Portions were generous and the food felt fresh, flavours balanced, and even the classics felt they had that extra touch of excellence to them. As it was a birthday visit, we were also gifted a chocolate mousse cake and birthday card, a very welcome gesture. Overall, a vibrant restaurant with comforting yet impeccable food, at a very generous price point - would thoroughly recommend!

Veeraswamy is an unforgettable dining experience in London. Located on Regent Street, the restaurant has incredible history, beautiful ambiance, and a very upscale feel, all while staying warm and welcoming. I booked this place with a friend for my birthday dinner, and to my surprise they made it extra special by bringing out a birthday card along with a small cake. Such a thoughtful touch. The food was outstanding. Loved the tikka and beetroot tikka appetizers, and honestly every dish we tried was excellent. The drink selection was great as well and paired perfectly with the meal. Yes, it’s expensive, but absolutely worth it for the food, the experience, and the heritage that comes with it. Nearly 100 years of history is no small thing for a restaurant, and you really feel that legacy when you dine here. A must-visit for anyone looking for refined Indian cuisine with history and character.
